We are having a soup supper for the community this coming Saturday, February 20, from 4:30 to 6:30. Come enjoy a variety of soups, sandwiches, and desserts! All are welcome! Funds raised will be used to help increase our witness commission's funds. These funds are used for community or other outreach.

 

We were privileged to have Doug Larrick come to worship with his music a few weeks ago. Here is Doug with all his family members that come to our church.

Our congregation will be hosting a Lenten service on Sunday, February 28 at 4:00. You are welcome to join us and then stay for our fellowship meal afterwards. The Lenten services are with all our area Church of the Brethren congregations, one congregation hosts each Sunday of Lent.

Another occasion to look forward to is our Palm Sunday Echoes of Praise cantata at 5:00. We will have a meal following that event as well.

Our church had a booth at Fat Hill Fest, handing out freezer pops. Therefore,

Lunch in Arthur

 

Our annual Women's Fellowship sponsored luncheon at Yoder's in Arthur took place yesterday, July 11. We had a good group of 22 of our church family. Fun and fellowship ensued, as well as good eating.

Honoring Graduates

In May we honored our graduates, those from college, high school, and preschool.

Two were in attendance at church on the day we had a special time for this purpose.

 

 

Sadie Sawyer has graduated from high school.

Spring

 

Easter has passed and spring is well upon us. As we continue to celebrate our risen Lord, we rejoice in the new life that we see all around us.

 

We welcome all who wish to worship with us--10:00 a.m. every Sunday.

Sunday School for all ages is at 9:00 on Sundays.

 

Community youth meet most Sundays at 6:00 p.m., this month at our church.

 

Adult Bible Study takes place Tuesday mornings at 9:30.
