Honoring Graduates

In May we honored our graduates, those from college, high school, and preschool.

Two were in attendance at church on the day we had a special time for this purpose.

 

 

Sadie Sawyer has graduated from high school.

 

Shannon Born has graduated from college.

We are thankful for all the graduates and wish them God's blessings their future.

Spring

 

Easter has passed and spring is well upon us. As we continue to celebrate our risen Lord, we rejoice in the new life that we see all around us.

 

We welcome all who wish to worship with us--10:00 a.m. every Sunday.

Sunday School for all ages is at 9:00 on Sundays.

 

Community youth meet most Sundays at 6:00 p.m., this month at our church.

 

Adult Bible Study takes place Tuesday mornings at 9:30.

Annual Christmas Vespers and Alleluia Singers



 

Come, celebrate the Advent season with us as we enjoy our annual community Christmas Vespers. This wonderful event with specials from our area churches sets the tone for our Advent season, preparing our hearts for the coming of Christmas and our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Vespers start at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 7, here at our church. Following the service is a time of food and fellowship for all. Please join us.

 

Also, on December 21 at 4:00, we will host the Alleluia Singers who will present a Christmas cantata. This group always has a good musical program. We will have a light supper afterwards for all who attend and wish to stay. Put this special event on your calendar too.

 



All Church Wiener Roast

Our all-church wiener roast sponsored by Women's Fellowship was a great evening of relaxation and fun. The evening was perfect. The Kussart yard provided an enjoyable spot.

We enjoyed conversation, a meal, and singing as the night grew dark. What a wonderful fellowship time for those of us who attended!

Sign up time for New Directory

The photo sign-up button is ready for use! Click on the button on the right and follow the directions to sign up for your session. You don't even have to belong to our church. Sign up and receive a free 8 x 10 photo from your session. If you don't belong in our congregation (yet, we hope), you may elect to not have your photo placed in our directory. Please sign up as soon as possible. Sign-ups will also be taken before and after Sunday morning worship. Our session is September 22. Hope to see everyone there.      Stay tuned for details, but we are preparing to have photos taken for a new church directory.
     Anyone may get a photo taken, even if you don't belong to our church, and you will not have to be included in our directory. There is even a free photo for everyone who sits for photos. What a deal!
     We think this will be a wonderful way to let the community find out a little more about us. Sign-ups will be available soon on this web page.
